Many of us unknowingly carry “truths” about ourselves that aren’t true at all. These are limiting beliefs, often formed in childhood, shaped by comments or negative situations that make us doubt our potential. Over time, these beliefs create a mental narrative we may not even realize we’re repeating:

• “I’m not good enough.”
• “I don’t have a degree.”
• “There are others better than me.”
• “This is all I’m good for.”

For years, I let these beliefs shape my life, convinced they defined what I could achieve. But here’s the reality: No matter what anyone has said to you or about you, those opinions don’t define your future or your worth.

When I worked in a corporate role, I was grateful for a stable income, yet I always felt like something was missing. I imagined a future where I could set my own hours, determine my income, and create a business on my terms. But every time I dreamed of it, those limiting beliefs would creep in:

• “I can’t leave my job!”
• “What if I fail?”
• “I’m not qualified to have my own business.”

Ten years ago, I decided to take the leap. Without a degree, without a backup plan, and certainly without everything perfectly in place, I launched my own virtual business. Today, I’ve built a business that earns 5-6 figures a month—a journey filled with lessons, mistakes, and, ultimately, transformation. My life has changed in every way imaginable, and I’d do it all over again.
